Again, this year Nana's wife, Nirmala made a delicious meal for a few of us. Laurel and Anna joined me. Nana and Nirmala's son got married a couple of years ago, and the girl on the right is the beautiful new daughter-in-law, Archana. Both she and Nirmala made us: veg. pakoras, a cabbage dish, a sprouts dish, a meti (fennel) dish, dal, rice, chapati, papadam. All was fresh and quite tasty. While eating we watched the wedding DVD.
Nana said they moved into this new house a few months ago. Although the temperature was close to 100 outside, it was quite cool in their house with the fans. The house they lived in 2 years ago was one room. this new house had a large mainroom, a good size kitchen and a bathroom.
